With the 2020-2021 school year coming towards an end Camden Earls became the thirtieth Boiling Springs athlete to sign to continue their athletic career at the college level next season.
Earls signed to continue his basketball career at Erskine College next season after spending the past two seasons as one of the leaders of the Boiling Springs basketball team. He said that it was tough to narrow down his choice dpwn but he's looking forward to joining the Flying Fleet program. "It was a really hard decision because I had a lot of schools talk to me but I wanted to find somewhere that wasn't far from home," said Earls. "I'm excited to go down there to meet my teammates, bond with them, and hopefully win some games." Earls said that the bond he felt with the coaching staff also played a role in his decision. "I have a real bond with the coaches," said Earls. "I'm looking forward to getting to be coached by that group. They're looking for someone that can shoot the ball and facilitate it as well which is two attributes that I'm good at and I feel I'll fit perfect into their system." Earls isn't the only Bulldogs athlete to sign with Erskine since the Boiling Springs signing day in April as Boiling Springs softball player Samy Quinterro also signed with the Flying Fleet program.
