After having their match rained out on Tuesday against Nation Ford the Boiling Springs girls tennis team returned to the court with an impressive performance as they defeated region foe Gaffney 6-0 on Wednesday afternoon. The Bulldogs had three different matches won without losing a set on Wednesday afternoon as Sydney Braswell won at number two singles (6-0, 6-0) and Victoria Leonard won at number five singles (6-0, 6-0) while Anna Lynn Faile and Kaiden Price won in number two doubles (6-0, 6-0). Madison Ball won in number one singles (6-0, 6-1) while Emma Kotzur won at number three singles (6-3, 6-3). The sweep of the match was finished off when Emily Krechko won at number four singles (6-0, 6-2) and gave the Bulldogs the 6-0 victory. The Bulldogs will return to the court on Tuesday to host Clover before returning to the court on Wednesday to host Fort Mill. Busy Week For Bulldogs GolfThe Boiling Springs and Chesnee girls golf teams had two home and home matches this week as they both get ready for tournament play this week and upcoming region tournaments.
While the Bulldogs fell overall in the two matches this week they did come away with medalist honors in both matches as Madison Dixon won medalist honors on Wednesday afternoon at Woodfin Ridge and MK Talledo tied for medalist honors on Monday at Meadowbrook. The Bulldogs and Eagles will return to action on Thursday as they both compete in the Lady Rebels Invitational at River Falls while Boiling Springs will then head to region play on Monday at the Chester Golf Club. After the South Carolina high school football season was delayed almost a month due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Boiling Springs and Gaffney made the wait worth it for their fans as they played another thriller that saw a Bulldog rally fall just short as the Indians came away with a 33-23 victory at The Reservation on Friday night.
After trailing the Indians 19-2 with just over a minute to go in the first half the Bulldogs outscored Gaffney 21-7 from that point on until the final minutes of the game when the Indians were able to add a final score to go up ten and take the victory. "We were able to cut the game to three there late and it just seemed like every mistake we made as a team came at a crucial time and that goes for us coaches as well," said Bulldogs head coach Rick Tate. "The main thing is that our team stayed together and they fought and clawed their way back. I was really proud of how our kids fought tonight." The Bulldogs started their rally with just under two minutes left in the first half at their own twenty-nine yard line. After three straight completions by Bulldogs quarterback Jalen Dodd and a roughing the passer call against Gaffney moved the ball to the Indians side of the field, Dodd was able to find wide receiver Jacob Hamrick breaking across the middle of the field for a twenty-nine yard touchdown pass putting the Gaffney lead at 19-8 entering halftime. Gaffney was able to score first in the second half when running back Tyler Smith took a handoff down the right sideline for thirty-six yards and a touchdown to put the Indians up 26-8 with just under six minutes left in the third quarter and that would be the score when the horn sounded to end the quarter. As the fourth quarter started Gaffney was lined up to punt when an errant snap went over the head of the punter and was recovered by the Bulldogs Austin Henderson in the endzone to put Gaffney's lead at 26-16, after a successful two-point conversion on a pass from Dodd to Caden Sullivan. The Bulldogs scored again with six minutes to go in the game when Dodd found Sullivan again, this time for a seventy-nine yard touchdown pass down the left sideline to put Gaffney's lead at 26-23. With their lead dwindled down to three points the Indians responded with a four minute drive that was capped off by a two yard touchdown run from quarterback Undre Lindsay to put the Indians up ten with under two minutes to go in the game and all but seal up the victory. The Bulldogs got a strong game from senior quarterback Jalen Dodd who finished the night with 210 yards passing and two touchdowns while most of those passing yards were caught by Caden Sullivan who finished the night with ninety-nine yards receiving with one touchdown. Senior Cam Mills led the Bulldogs in rushing with sixty-four yards on fourteen carries. "I'm really proud of Jalen how he worked this offseason and came back to lead our team tonight," said Tate. On the defensive side of the Bulldogs really stepped up their game in the second half limiting a strong Gaffney offensive attack to only seven points most of the half. Charles McFadden Jr, Dre Pinckney, Justin Corbitt, and Malik Harper led the Bulldogs in tackling on Friday night as senior cornerback Troy Bell also had a big interception for the Bulldogs in the endzone that he was able to return to the forty yard line. "They played hard and made some plays," said Tate. "We're only going to get better as the season goes on." Boiling Springs will return to action next Friday night as they host Nation Ford in their home opener of the 2020 season. After picking up a win on Wednesday night against Spartanburg the Boiling Springs volleyball team made it two in a row as they defeated Gaffney 3-2 (25-22, 20-25, 22-25, 25-17, 15-11) on Thursday night to avenge an earlier loss to the Indians earlier this season.
After falling behind 2-1 in the match the Bulldogs were able to win two straight sets to come away with their first region win of the year. "The girls really had to fight for this one tonight as the scores went back and forth all night," said Bulldogs head volleyball coach Allison Elliot. "The whole team contributed tonight and the final set came down to controlling momentum by putting the ball away first." Boiling Springs was led in kills on Thursday night by Savannah Page with twenty-four while also picking up twenty-six assists. Madison Gregory also had twenty-six assists for the Bulldogs while Macy Bagwell led the team with three blocks. Gracie Kilgore and Cloe Wood led the team in digs with twenty-seven while Alex Fyfe was just behind them with twenty-four digs of her own. Boiling Springs will look to use the back-to-back victories as momentum as they go through the second half of their region play. "We expect this to be a confidence booster as we play Nation Ford on Tuesday," said Elliot. "Our goal is to keep getting better each time we play." The Bulldogs will return to play on Tuesday as they travel to Nation Ford in another region matchup before a planned home game on Thursday against Clover. On Thursday night the Boiling Springs swim team sent their seven seniors out with a victories over both Emerald and Oakbrook Prep in their final home meet. The Bulldogs won the meet 231-85 over Oakbrook and 223-98 over Emerald in their final meet before the Region III-5A championships.
The seven Bulldogs swimmers that were honored on Thursday night included Luke Olson, Jamie Wade, Lauren Agnew, Makenzy Carothers, Katelyn Mazurowski, Mary Lauren Reese, and Molly Verdell. "The team came out with victories across the board tonight as tonight was about having fun and celebrating our seniors," said Bulldogs head swim coach Lanie Peden. "All seven of these swimmers have been great role models to our younger guys and will be missed." The Bulldogs came away with victories in seventeen of the twenty-two events which started with a win by four of the seniors in the girls 200y medley relay where Molly Verdell, Lauren Agnew, Katelyn Mazurowski, and Makenzy Carothers won in a time of 2:01.34. The Boiling Springs boys 200y medley relay team (Will Humphreys, Ashton Threadgill, Samuel Jouault, and Garrett Watson) made it two in a row as they won their event as well in a time of 1:49.10. Humphreys and Mary Lauren Reese both won their events in the 200y freestyle for the Bulldogs followed by both Lauren Agnew and Ashton Threadgill winning their events in the 200y individual medley. Molly Verdell won the 50y freestyle for the Bulldogs before the first non-Bulldog won a race as Oakbrook's Drew Smiley won the boys 50y freestyle with a time of 23.58. Katelyn Mazurowski and Garrett Watson both won in the 100y butterfly events followed by Camryn Duncan and Will Humphreys both coming away with wins in 100y freestyle events. Laney Moore followed those events with a win in the 500y freestyle event for the Bulldogs before another win by Smiley for Oakbrook. The Bulldogs came away with wins in the girls 200y freestyle relay along with the 400y freestyle relay while also picking up a win in the boys 400y freestyle relay with a time of 3:31.04. Katelyn Mazurowski and Garrett Watson finished up the wins for the Bulldogs on Thursday night as they both picked up victories in the 100y breaststroke events. After enjoying sending their seniors out with victories Boiling Springs will now have a week to prepare for a very tough region championship event. "We have week of very important training and then off to our region meet in Fort Mill," said Peden. "We have some key races that need to drop time to maximize the number of swims we will have heading into the state championship." The Bulldogs will be competing in the Region III-5A championships in Fort Mill on Saturday, October 3rd. Boiling Springs volleyball used some strong play at the net and some timely serves to come away with a 3-1 (25-19, 25-16, 23-25, 25-22) victory over Spartanburg on Wednesday night. "It was a much needed win for us tonight," said Bulldogs head coach Allison Elliot. "Hopefully it will help boost our confidence going into region play tomorrow and into next week." Boiling Springs fell behind early in the first set before tying the game at 5-5 and then Bulldogs junior Savannah Page went on a service run that saw the Bulldogs score seven straight points on their way to a 25-17 win. The service run by Page included three aces to go along with her game high seventeen kills and five blocks. "We've been working on serving consistently the last few weeks in practice and it's great to see that translate over to the games," said Elliot. "For Savannah to rattle off some aces and give us a good cushion of a lead there in the first set it freed up the rest of our players and gave us some momentum." In the second set the Bulldogs never trailed as they gained a 2-0 lead by winning the set 25-16. In the third set Spartanburg held a 21-18 lead before the Bulldogs rallied back to tie the game at 21-21 but ended up falling 25-23 to the Vikings. After falling in the third set Boiling Springs came out strong in the fourth set as they didn't trail throughout the set and were only tied once at 11-11. The Bulldogs went on to win the set and the match when Page spiked the ball in the middle of the Vikings defense for a 25-22 set win and a 3-1 match victory. One of the key factors in the Bulldogs victory was the strength of their front line throughout the game as they registered numerous blocks and deflections that didn't allow the Vikings many quality shots. "We have several hitters contributing and it's great seeing all of them having good nights," said Elliot. "Not having to rely on one player to put the ball away is really exciting for our team." The Bulldogs will return to action on Thursday night as they host Gaffney in a region matchup where Boiling Springs will look to avenge a loss to the Indians earlier this season. Girls Golf Wins Region MatchupAfter a strong third place finish at the Lady Trojan Invitational in Rock Hill on Monday the Boiling Springs girls golf team returned home to defeat Nation Ford on Wednesday afternoon. The Bulldogs came away with the victory after shooting a combined team score of 165 and MK Talledo walked away as the medalist of the match after shooting a three under score of thirty-three. Boiling Springs will return to action on Saturday and Sunday as they play in the two-day High School Invitational tournament at the Country Club of South Carolina in Florence. Other Updates
With a young team last year the Boiling Springs football team was able to find their way into the 5A playoffs and the Bulldogs are counting on using that experience from last season to propel them into a deeper run in the playoffs as they look to be one of the two playoff participants from their new region in the 2020 season. “We had a lot of growing pains last year with young kids having to play significant time but that’ll be a positive for us this year with that experience coming back,” said Boiling Springs head coach Rick Tate. “With all the kids had to fight through last year with injuries and different things we believe it’s only going to make us stronger this year.” On the offensive side of the ball the Bulldogs went into last season with a quarterback battle but this season the job will be in the hands of senior Jalen Dodd, who started the final few games of last year for Boiling Springs. Dodd, in an offense that started off very run based, ended up the season throwing for 725 yards on fifty-six completions and twelve touchdowns. Tate says that having a senior quarterback like Dodd in control of the offense is very reassuring for the team especially with an offseason that has been anything but normal. “It’s great for the players and the coaches to have a guy like Jalen there leading the team with his experience,” said Tate. “Jalen has come back in such great shape knowing this is his team to lead. He’s throwing the ball very well and I’m just so proud of the work he has put in during the time we were gone. I feel fantastic about our quarterback situation this year.” The Bulldogs will be returning a lot of talent around Dodd as well as they’ll have two senior running backs in Charles McFadden and Cam Mills both back as they combined with former Bulldog Kentavious Epps to run for over 1,000 yards and ten touchdowns last season. That duo will be joined by Mon'tavious Perry-Dillard and they will be running behind a very experienced offensive line this year that will be returning Jacob Ridlehoover, Kylik Lynch, Carter Sloand, Elijah Hyatt, Jarod VanMaanen and Eric Lopez. “We feel like it’s the most experienced offensive line we’ve had coming back in a long time,” said Tate. “All of them worked hard before they left us and worked hard while they were gone. Some of the guys have come back stronger than they were when they left us.” At the wide receiver position the Bulldogs will be looking to get production from a group of experienced players mixed with youth as they look to get production from Charkie Singleton, Tedron Barber, Jacob Hamrick, and Jai’quez Thompson. On the defensive side of the ball the Bulldogs will have a lot of experience returning next season including their leading tackler from last season and two safeties that have committed to Division-I colleges. The defensive line will be led by senior Ethan Rennels who recorded thirty-one tackles last season along with fellow seniors Caleb Mobley, Justin Corbitt and junior Malik Harper. The defensive line has six different players that the Bulldogs feel they can rotate throughout a game. “Between our offensive and defensive line we probably have fifteen of the most athletic linemen we’ve had in a long time,” said Tate. “We really feel good about those groups this year.” At the linebacker position the Bulldogs will see the team returning their leading tackler from last season as senior Austin Henderson will return at middle linebacker, after leading the Bulldogs with ninety-three tackles last season. “Austin was our team MVP last year and he’s just a great tackler,” said Tate. “He averaged almost fifteen tackles a game last season and will be joined by a good group with Shantez Durham Whiteside and Matthew Slaten along with some really good kids off the JV team that are battling for some spots.” In the secondary the Bulldogs will be returning senior safeties Dre Pinckney (Coastal Carolina commit) and Caden Sullivan (Appalachian St commit) along with senior cornerbacks Avery Stewart and Troy Bell as the group will also be adding junior Kameron Meadows, who had forty-three tackles at linebacker last season while also contributing on the offensive end with five receptions. Pinckney and Sullivan combined to grab five of the Bulldogs seven interceptions last season as the group as a whole looks to make passing a tough option for opposing offenses. “Our defense is a group that has been together a long time and have worked hard,” said Tate. “We’ve had a lot of players come back to the team bigger and stronger than they were when they left here and that’s a testament to how focused these guys are to accomplishing their goals this season.” While the rules from the pandemic have created many changes for the team this season, those aren’t the only changes the team will be facing as the Bulldogs will be joining Region III-5A this season with Clover, Fort Mill, Gaffney, and Nation Ford. While it’s a new region it’s also one that’s not completely unfamiliar to the team as they were the original champions of the region back in 2016 but one thing that will be different for them and every other team will be opening up their season starting region play. “We’re real familiar with a lot of those teams as we’re used to seeing Gaffney and we’ve seen Clover and Nation Ford recently,” said Tate. “Fort Mill is the only one we haven’t seen in a while but we open up with Gaffney and we’ve built a pretty good little rivalry with them. We start our season off there with them and if you’re a kid wanting to make a name there’s not a better place than at The Reservation. I think the kids are just ready to play football so starting out with region it won’t be as big of a deal for them as it probably will be for us coaches.” Pandemic Changes Recruiting ProcessAs with any seniors going into their final year of high school, the senior football players of the Boiling Springs Bulldogs are busy trying to make decisions about their futures past this season but there’s one big difference from normal years, with an active pandemic it’s hard to visit many campuses to help make those decisions. After talking with four seniors recently the one common factor in their decisions was that they all wanted to find a place that “felt like home” and while two of the players have already committed saying they’ve found that spot the other two are still waiting to make sure they make the right choice for them. As senior Ethan Rennels said, “I’m not just making a choice for the next four years but a choice for my next forty years.” When talking with seniors Dre Pinckney (Coastal Carolina) and Caden Sullivan (Appalachian State) they both said that early visits with their schools sold them on their choices and that the recruiting since the pandemic began has only reaffirmed their decisions. “Prior to the pandemic it was really cool getting to visit the campuses and seeing the atmosphere around the campus along with getting to see what it’s like on a day-to-day basis but once Covid-19 hit it was a huge adjustment,” said Pinckney. “We were forced to miss camps because of the pandemic but luckily I had visited Coastal before this all started. Throughout it all the coaches made me and my family feel good about my decision while going through the recruitment process.” Caden Sullivan had a very similar story as Pinckney, saying that an early visit along with constant contact from the coaches only helped him solidify his decision to commit to Appalachian State. “It was definitely a stressful time but thankfully I was able to make a few visits before the shutdown,” said Sullivan. “The most stressful part was making the actual decision but I feel really good about the decision I did make. My visit to Appalachian State prior to the pandemic had a lot to do with my decision because I got to know the coaches and find out what kind of people they really were. I got to see all the championship trophies the school has won and that visit really locked the door on my decision and made me feel comfortable I had made the right choice.” On the other end of the spectrum are senior players Ethan Rennels and Charles McFadden who both say that while both have narrowed down their possible destinations that the inability to visit some of the schools during the pandemic has kept them from making a decision just yet. Rennels said that while he has his favorites he really wants to be able to see all the campuses to make sure it’s the correct decision for him now and in the future. “I’ve been really undecided just yet because I want to be able to meet some of the coaches in person and see the campus,” said Rennels. “You get to talk to the coaches but I want to make sure I fit in with their program because you may like the coach but you’ve got to make sure the whole situation is right for you. It’s really hard to make a decision to go somewhere you have never been and I want to make sure I’m making the right decision for myself forty years from now, not just the next four years.” McFadden says that while taking part in the recruitment process during the pandemic has been tough it has also been an interesting experience. “The recruitment process during the pandemic has been really interesting because you see the teams that are really interested in you because the process is more difficult with the pandemic,” said McFadden. “Since the pandemic has started I’ve pushed back making some of these decisions because I want to be able to focus on the upcoming season here at Boiling Springs. I’m really looking for a place that makes me feel like family and I think once we get back to being able to visit campuses that’s something I’ll recognize when I get there. I want to see what the coaches are like in person and not just the coaches but the whole campus because besides being an athlete you’re also a student.” While the pandemic has been a tough process for everyone, it has been a tough one for these four athletes along with all their fellow 2021 classmates as they make one of their biggest life decisions without a lot of the knowledge many of us were able to have when making the decision. Hopefully as we enter 2021 things will soon get better and we’ll all be able to celebrate the 2021 class and their accomplishments. Bulldogs Making Names At The Next LevelAs the college football season slowly starts up amidst the Covid-19 pandemic there are a lot of Boiling Springs kids taking part in this season while there are also quite a few that are having to wait until hopefully the spring to have their season. With the ACC and Sun Belt conferences already starting their seasons some former Bulldogs have already started their seasons and made big impacts before their alma mater has taken the first snap in a live game. North Carolina will be a big place for Bulldogs fans to keep their eyes on as there are two former Bulldogs starting for the seventeenth ranked Tar Heels as Storm Duck is starting at cornerback and Grayson Atkins (who was a graduate transfer from Furman) is the starting kicker. Both players had big games to start the season as Atkins went three for four on his kicks against Syracuse and Duck had four tackles and two pass breakups in the Tar Heels 31-7 win. Former Bulldogs wide receiver Will Brown will once again be competing for the number one ranked Clemson Tigers where he hopes to add to his collection of championship rings. He has started the season with receptions in both of the first two games against Wake Forest and The Citadel. Two members of the Bulldogs community are participating in the Sun Belt conference this season, who went 3-0 against the Big 12 last week. One of those wins came from a great performance by the Coastal Carolina defense, that includes former Bulldog Chris Evans, who defeated Kansas 38-23 to start the season and improved to 2-0 after defeating Campbell this week. The other member from Boiling Springs competing in the Sun Belt is wide receiver Najee Thompson who is one of the top receivers for Georgia Southern this season and a key player on the special teams. They started the season with a home win over Campbell. Michael Bollinger and the Liberty Flames team got their season started on Saturday as they defeated Western Kentucky 30-24 where Bollinger got lots of playing time including a ten yard kick return. The only other members of the Boiling Springs community that are also scheduled to play this fall are Michael McDowell and Logan Billings who will be competing with The Citadel in four games this fall since the Southern Conference postponed their season until later this year. As of Saturday they have competed in two of the four games (USF and Clemson) with only Eastern Kentucky and Army left on their fall schedule. In the planned spring season there will be numerous Bulldogs competing all over the country and we have included a list of those players along with the ones talked about above in the list below. We wish them all the best of luck and a safe season no matter when their schedule is set to begin. Will Brown – Clemson
Grayson Atkins - North Carolina Storm Duck – North Carolina Najee Thompson – Georgia Southern Chris Evans – Coastal Carolina Michael Bollinger – Liberty Chad Gardner – Wofford Donovan Anderson – Wofford Wyatt Bartkowiak - Wofford Michael McDowell – The Citadel Logan Billings – The Citadel Ethan Ray – Charleston Southern Patrick Smith - Charleston Southern Trayson Fowler – Charleston Southern Chance Guest - Erskine KJ Rodgers – Walsh University Joseph Gregory – Limestone Caden Peeler – Limestone Shamar Wilson - Limestone Tanner Robbins - Limestone Andrew Sprouse – Newberry Tyler Lindsay – Newberry Dylan Brock – Averett Marquise Graves - Ramah Academy On a windy day in Rock Hill the Boiling Springs girls golf team was able to withstand the elements and come home with a third place finish at the fifth annual Lady Trojan Invitational on Monday afternoon.
The Bulldogs finished tied for third at the Rock Hill Country Club with Catawba Ridge by shooting a team score of 348, only trailing the tournament champion Blythewood and former region opponent Byrnes who finished second. Boiling Springs' MK Talledo was the medalist of the match shooting a tournament low 70, outshooting the next closest opponent by four strokes. The Bulldogs will be back in competition on Wednesday at home in region matchup against Nation Ford. Coming off just one day of rest the Boiling Springs swim team was able to accomplish something that doesn't happen very often as they came away with an overall victory over their former region mates Dorman in a swim meet. The Bulldogs defeated the Cavaliers 169-163 while both teams fell to Riverside on Saturday.
"We had a lot of kids racing their across town friends which makes it enjoyable for them and it's sweet for the seniors to claim a combined score victory over Dorman their senior year," said Bulldogs head coach Lanie Peden. "In the tri-meet, Riverside was victorious across the board as they have a great history of excellence in South Carolina swimming with extremely talented athletes." Boiling Springs got strong performances from their girls team as the medley team along with seniors Molly Verdell and Katelyn Mazurowski had nice performances in their individual events on Saturday. "The girls looked especially great in the medley relay today," said Peden. "Senior Molly Verdell had a great meet in the 50y and 100y freestyles while senior Katelyn Mazurowski was excellent in the 100y fly and 100y backstroke events." The men's team had some strong performances as well with the 200y medley relay team edging out Dorman with a two one-thousandths of a second victory in that event. Will Humphreys came away with a victory in the 100y freestyle event and the 100y backstroke while Ashton Threadgill was victorious in the 100y breaststroke with a time of 1:04.58. "Our guys raced hard and came up a little short against Dorman with a few technical errors," said Peden. "Will Humphreys and Ashton Threadgill gave us some fun racing to watch today." The Bulldogs will host their final regular season meet on Thursday against Emerald and Cambridge at the Middle Tyger YMCA where they will honor their seniors. After Thursday the Bulldogs next competition will be October 3rd in Fort Mill for the region meet and then the state championships on October 10th and 12th at the North Charleston Aquatics Center. The Boiling Springs swim team defeated Gaffney but suffered a loss to Fort Mill to split a region matchup in Fort Mill on Thursday afternoon. In the matchup the Bulldogs had an impressive performance from their men's medley relay team, who are currently ranked second in the state in the event just ahead of Riverside and Dorman who they face in a meet on Saturday. The medley team (made up of Will Humphreys, Ashton Threadgill, Samuel Jouault, and Garrett Watson) won the 200y relay with a time of 1:43.36 on Thursday and are currently sitting at just less than two seconds off the school record time. The Bulldogs also got good nights from Garrett Watson in the 200y freestyle event that he won in the time of 1:52.73 as well as a strong night from Will Humphreys in the 200y individual medley and 500y freestyle. Ashton Threadgill also had a good night winning the 100y breaststroke event with a time of 1:04.68. "Garrett had a stellar event as well as great swims by Will Humphreys in his events," said Bulldogs head coach Lanie Peden. "Ashton Threadgill has put in hard work in the last year and is having an incredible season." The Bulldogs will step out of region matchups on Saturday when they take on Dorman and Riverside at 11:00 at the Middle Tyger YMCA. "The region we're in is fast every time we get in the pool," said Peden. "We're looking forward to some non-region competition against some familiar faces even though it's going to be tough competing on just one day's rest between meets." Other Notes From Thursday
Boiling Springs and Chesnee, both schools being from Spartanburg County's school district two, had great outings on Monday as they both finished in the top three of the Lady Eagle Tournament in Greenwood, SC against a strong field of competitors.
Chesnee won the overall tournament by defeating Gilbert High School in a sudden death playoff, that was forced by a clutch birdie putt from the Eagles Sydney Roberts on the 18th hole during regular competition. While the Eagles won the tournament the Bulldogs finished the tournament in a strong third place just behind both Chesnee and Gilbert and eleven shots ahead of fourth place Emerald High School. The Bulldogs Madison Dixon was co-medalist of the match with Chapin's Emily Baker as both players shot a one under seventy-one for the one day tournament. They were joined on the All-Tournament team by the Bulldogs MK Talledo along with the Eagles Isabella Britt and Sydney Roberts as both teams accounted for four of the five All-Tournament team honors. Boiling Springs will return to action on Tuesday as they travel to Clover for a region matchup before returning to play on Thursday in the Lady Rebel Invitational at River Falls where they will be joined by Chesnee for the all-day tournament. |
