SPARTANBURG, SC - After falling to Spartanburg earlier this season, the Boiling Springs boys lacrosse team rebounded with an 18-6 road victory against the Vikings to punch their ticket into the 5A playoffs.
The Bulldogs jumped out early with two goals from Lincoln Huskey off assists from Elijah Smith and Javin Chimm. Smith, Dawson Martini, and Brendan Riordan scored three more goals in the first quarter to hold on to their early lead. Huskey added two more goals in the second quarter as Chase Miller, Elijah Smith, Campbell Johnson, Dawson Martini, and Peyton Tanner to push their score to 12 goals in favor of the Bulldogs. Martini (2), Elijah Smith, Monty Carmona, Javin Chimm, and Dylan Snider all accounted for the Bulldogs final six goals in the second half as the Bulldogs improved their record to 10-5 overall and 3-3 in region play. Elijah Smith led the Bulldogs with four assists while Javin Chimm led the Bulldogs in groundballs with 14. The victory over the Vikings ended the Bulldogs regular season, they will now wait for the 5A playoff brackets to be released for their playoff destination. Comments are closed.
