ROCK HILL, SC - The Boiling Springs girls' golf team traveled to Rock Hill for their first tournament in a week and came away with a top five finish at the Lady Trojan Invitational at Rock Hill Country Club on Monday.
The Bulldogs finished in fourth place out of ten teams at the event, on a tough day for every team on the course, after shooting a team score of 386. Catawba Ridge won the tournament with a score of 337 and Lexington finished in second place with a team score of 346 on Monday while Nation Ford finished just ahead of the Bulldogs in third place with a team score of 372. The rest of the field consisted of Clover, Fort Mill, Northwestern, York, South Pointe, and Rock Hill. Boiling Springs was led by senior golfer Madison Dixon who shot a team low score of 79, which was just two shots behind the individual winner Eileen Zeoli from Catawba Ridge who won the medalist honors with a score of 77 on Monday. The Bulldogs will be back on the course tomorrow, September 13th, when they travel to Greenwood for the Lady Eagle Tournament at the Links at Stoney Point. Comments are closed.
