The Boiling Springs Bulldogs girl's tennis team got the week started as they defeated Broome 6-1 on Monday night. Madison Ball got the win in number one singles (6-1, 6-4) while Sydney Braswell got a dominant win in number two singles winning both her matches with a score of 6-0. Emma Kotzur got the win in number three singles (6-1, 6-2) and added another win when Victoria Leonard got a win in number four singles (7-5, 6-1). They also got wins in the number five singles by Erica Krechko (6-2, 6-0) and number two singles by Krechko and Lydia Sparks (6-1, 6-2) with their only loss coming in the number one doubles.
Boiling Springs volleyball had a good performance at the Rocky Top Classic where they won all three of their games on the first day before falling in the second round of the gold bracket on day two. They also competed against Hillcrest on Tuesday night falling 3-0 to the Rams. The Boiling Springs swim team won the Lakeland Invitational in Greenwood on Saturday and they used took that momentum into Wednesday night where the 200 free relay team (Morgan Greenlee, Molly Verdell, Katelyn Mazurowski, and MacKenzie Carothers) broke the school record in a meet against Spartanburg and Mauldin at Converse College. On Thursday the Boiling Springs girl's golf team finished second at the Lady Bengal Golf Tournament being played at the Columbia Country Club. MK Talledo shot a score of 71 to make the All-Tournament to lead the Bulldogs. Comments are closed.
