The Chesnee Eagles downed the Greer Middle College Blazers 68-45 on Tuesday night. The Eagles used an 11-0 run in the first five minutes of the third quarter to go up 43-23 and never looked bad from there. Chesnee head basketball coach Andy Pitt was pleased with his team's start to the second half, "It was close in the first half and then in the second half we trapped with some zone defense instead of man to man," Pitt said. Chesnee also got a big night from Malik Busby as he scored 10 points coming off the bench. Coach Pitt was pleased with Busby's play, "I've been waiting on that out of him, he's got it in him" Pitt said. "There is no doubt in my mind he can give us rebounds and points off the bench, it was just really good to see that out of him.” Sam Johns made three three-point field goals and lead the Blazers with 17 points while Lucas Wamsley added 9 points for the Blazers.
