CHESNEE, SC - The Chesnee Eagles opened region play with an 11-4 win over the Landrum Cardinals on Wednesday evening.
This was a big win for us,” said Chesnee senior Kohen Orr. “We learned how hard it was last year to not win the first region game of the season. This win opens the door for a lot of possibilities as this region win gives us a lot of momentum.” Chesnee head coach Scott Wease was happy with how his team has fought so far this year. "I'm proud of them,” said Wease. “We haven't had an easy schedule to open the season. They have kept working, and I'm really proud of how they responded tonight.
