CHESNEE, SC - The Chesnee boys soccer team picked up a 2-0 win over the Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors to close out their regular season play on Friday night.
Nathan Lewis netted the first goal for the Eagles off an assist from Caleb Vaca as Vaca later netted a goal of his own in stoppage time to push their lead to 2-0 over the Warriors. Chesnee goalie Mark Bishop had a clean sheet in goal for the Eagles as he didn't allow a goal with numerous save attempts. The Eagles will return to action on Monday night when they travel to Newberry to open the 2A playoffs as kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
