SPARTANBURG, SC - As the golf season quickly approaches postseason play, the Chapman girls' golf team competed in their third straight day of golf and came away with a victory over the Broome Centurions at The Creek Golf Course on Wednesday afternoon.
After two days of eighteen-hole tournaments against some strong competition the Panthers were able to outshoot the Centurions 195-247 in their region matchup. Chapman was led by Adeline Todd who won medalist honors after shooting a score of 41, which was just one-shot ahead of teammate Samantha Ireland who shot a score of 42 as both were the top two scores in the match on Wednesday. The Panthers will return to the course on October 3rd when they compete in the Smith Memorial at the Country Club of Newberry. Comments are closed.
